Jingrong (Rose) is an accomplished electric organist, who has been playing keyboards for 25 years with 19 years focused on the electric organ. She has played multiple electone models, from EL900 to ELS-02C.
At the Beijing Institute of Technology as an undergrad, Jingrong was an official arts student, performing concerts multiple times per year in front of the entire student body and faculty. She performs locally in Seattle for charity concerts, including the charity concert for University of Washington Combined Fund Drive in 2019. Jingrong has been teaching piano for a year locally in Seattle. She is more excited to have organ students. During her lessons, she wants to not only introduce the technical skills, but also work on students’ musicality.
At this point, Rose only admits students who:
- Have basic music knowledge (i.e can read music and are familiar with the basic music symbols) and basic keyboard playing skills. New to Electone. Rose will work with the student with beginner level Electone books first.
- Have played Electone before, but want to improve.
- Want to focus on specific pieces of music or books. Books preferred, as she can pass on more knowledge through different songs.
Note: Rose’s classes will not focus on music theory, but focus on performance.

镜蓉在西雅图教授钢琴已有一年。但是她更希望能教授双排键。她不仅想训练学生的演奏技巧，更希望提高学生的音乐素养，用感情去演奏。
目前，镜蓉只接受如下学生：
1） 有基础的乐理知识 （比如食谱，阅读音乐符号），并且有键盘乐器演奏基础，但是并没有学习或演奏过双排键。
2） 学习或演奏过双排键，希望进一步提升自己的演奏基础。
3）只想攻克某一首乐曲或书籍。
Fees (in USD)
The first class is free. Rose will get to know the students better, learn their current level and their goals.
If the student has never played Electone before, the 2nd class will be introducing basic functions (does not include how to make arrangement) and techniques (where to sit, how to move your legs, which part of the foot to use, etc.). This class is a flat rate of $50 (at least an hour).
After the first two classes (may not need the 2nd class for some students), price varies based on the difficulties of the piece/book:
- Songs/Books graded as10 - 8 (beginner level) - $30/hour
- Songs/Books graded as Level 6 - 7 (low level) - $40/hour
- Songs/Books graded as level 5 (middle level) - $55/hour
- Songs/Books graded as level 3 - 5 (not include 5, high level) - $70/hour
If students live in the Seattle area, Rose will offer in-person classes. However, the class fee will be 50% more for each category above.

For international students, please pay through TransferWise or PayPal.
Timing
Rose is in Pacific Time (PT). During weekdays, classes are available after 7 pm PT. Weekends may be available. Please contact Rose directly.
