Piston F tuba developed by Yamaha ahead of the world, responding to the strong demands of players, scaling up. By adopting a large size for both the bell and the bore, we made it possible to resonate richly in the same sense as the middle and high frequency range without changing the performance style to the low frequency range. That sound with a sense of scale will be active in almighty, not to mention the orchestra, ensemble, solo. Also, YFB-822S is 4 piston + 1 rotary (fifth lever = right hand operation). You can set the length of the 5th drawer tube to 4/3 sound and play the 4th + 5th bass B ♭. Furthermore, the angle of the piston of the front action is set considering ease of holding. Yamaha F Tuba's unique soft tone and rich sounds are now attracting the hot attention of the world's top players.
