[Hand made] Ideal
Newly developed head pipe "Type A"
By combining a lip plate shape that can make breath sound efficiently and a unique tube design that gives moderate resistance to the head pipe, a sound corresponding to a wide dynamic range and individual personality can be obtained. In addition, Pianissimo realizes outstanding pronunciation and responds to higher musical expressions. By increasing the wall thickness of the head pipe (9 gold: 0.35 → 0.43 mm, 14 gold: 0.3 → 0.43 mm, 18 K gold: 0.3 → 0.35 mm) by gold, the sound with high density also exists in Fortissimo It is obtained, broadening the range of musical expression.
Optimum weight balance for "Ideal" model
We increased the thickness of the sound hole, increased the overall weight moderately, undercut the sound hole (soldering / brazing type only). This realizes diverse tones and sounds, a wide dynamic range, sufficient volume, outstanding sound dropouts, and also demonstrates its presence in orchestras.
New design key
I made the shape of the inner surface flat by making the key shape thicker and more robust, and cutting out the ky cup. These improve the stability of the puff and make it easier to maintain the adjusted condition.
Tampo produced by Strobiner Flute, USA
Adopted a "Tampo made by US Strongburgh Flute" which realized the clear response and the maximum sound by high tightness. The on / off of the sound is clear, a quick reaction is obtained, it is strong against the shape change by the environment and time, and the ideal state is kept. (Soldering / brazing type only)
Ideal sculpture
Adopted the hand carved sculpture of "Ideal" which is the new model name in the joint part. It was designed with a sense of quality that is suitable for the flagship model.
Left hand pinless system (YFL-897 (D) / 997 only)
Adopting the left hand pinless system improves the operability of the third octave (F / Fis) when mounting the E mechanism on the inline ring key.
Acoustic annealing
With the adoption of acoustic annealing, breath is transmitted directly to the tube body, realizing a deeper and greater resonance and outstanding reactivity.

Tone hole
Soldering undercut (Standard on YFL-8 × 7, 9 × 7)
By spreading the lower part of the soldering tone hole slightly smoothly, we realize a rich sound that combines heaviness and brilliant sound with more spread.
※ In case of gold flute it will be brazed.
Pull-up curling (Standard on YFL-8x7D)
Pull up the rising part of the tone hole from the pipe body and curl the tip to make it. It has a bright reverberation, it is a feature that you can play legato easily and lightly.

Covered key
Because the covered keiki cup has a lid shape, the key holds the hole securely and prevents leakage of breath.The covered key model is easy to hold down naturally by combination with an offset key (G key which is operated by the left hand finger and protrudes, finger length matching arrangement).

Technique is needed to hold the hole reliably because the ring key ring cup is ring shaped, but because you can feel the vibration of the air directly at the fingertip, it is possible to control the nuance of fine sound. It is also attractive to have a high degree of freedom of pitch by operations such as shifting fingers. In the ring key model, the combination with the inline key (the key of the main pipe is arranged in a straight line) is common, but you can also choose the model of the offset ring key.
E mechanism
E mechanism
The E mechanism is a key system to make it easier to output "M" (E sound) of the third octave which is difficult to put out due to the structure of the flute's flute.
